THERAPY

Emily Leatherberry-Fish is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She provides individual counseling services to clients aged 18 and over. She has worked with clients experiencing concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, personality disorders, lack of self-esteem, adjustment issues, and grief. In addition, she has experience working with alcohol and substance abuse issues.

Emily provides an empathetic and client-centered approach when working with clients, and possesses the ability to adapt her therapeutic approach and methods to best meet the strengths, values, and needs of her clients. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based and effective strategies to best assist her clients to develop coping strategies and problem-solving skills, such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Emily believes that counseling must be conducted in a safe, collaborative, and supportive atmosphere. She is determined to meet her clients where they are at, and work with them to individualize their treatment in a way that best suits their identified needs and concerns. Her primary goal is to provide support and guidance for her clients, while motivating them to achieve their identified goals.
