Parish is trained in EMDR, motivational interviewing, and pulls from various other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems, and Reality Therapy. Parish has the unique ability to adapt to the needs of the client. As a counselor, Parish provides an empathetic and client-centered approach and believes that everything is truly connected when it comes to all the different pillars of life. Parish’s ultimate goal is to get her clients to the point of feeling self-sufficient enough to overpower their struggles. Therapy is a collaborative process, and helps clients realize that they are not on this journey alone. She often says, “We must show up for ourselves internally to reflect a better version of ourselves externally”.
Parish strives to provide an empathetic, compassionate, and honest approach to therapy. She wants you to succeed, and that requires not telling you what you want to hear, but instead what is necessary so you can grow!
